How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I am inspired by animals and the natural world and enjoy creating pieces of art around this subject however I will occasionally create pieces around mental health issues and some self portrait work which are often 'darker' than my usual ventures. I particularly enjoy surrealist art and plan to create some pieces with that style in mind.
I like to experiment and create textures which is why animals and objects in nature are a good inspiration for this, recently I have been working in various techniques like pallet knives to create fur textures.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a self taught artist working with a variety of art mediums including acrylic, charcoal, clay, ink, watercolour, collage and natural material such as wool, moss or horse hair . Working with a range of art mediums allows me to go between various artistic projects and ideas without feeling tied to becoming a 'specialist' in just one specific medium.

Exhibitions in the last 3 years:

Hereford Art and Craft Society at The Green Dragon in 2023
