How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My artwork is driven by a deep connection to nature and a desire to capture the memories and emotions of the beautiful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, where I live.
I'm inspired by the sensory world of plants, landscapes, changing seasons, and flowers, and my work moves beyond realism, embracing sculptural shapes that emerge through movement and expressive marks. Through layered textures and careful paint application, I work to enhances the interplay of highlights and shadows, bringing subjects to life, using a spray air-gun to build intricate layers that add depth and dimension to each piece. Using my love of colour, shape, and texture as the heart of every painting, thus I hope creating immersive and dynamic compositions.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist, is about feeling, observing, and transforming movement rather than strict realism for me.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

Contemporary Painter exploring movement, texture, and form.
