Each shade starts with one of my own linocuts, handprinted in colours I mix myself. The textures, colours and compositions make every shade different.
I love that each shade shows the hand of the maker and the designs are enhanced by light. I can customize colours to suit your decor.
Being an artist enables me to bring my ideas to life, making something joyful and practical from simple materials using my hands. And the opportunity to share that joy by creating functional products that others use to enhance the enjoyment of their homes.
I'm a lampshade designer maker, incorporating linocut printmaking and stitch. I also create surface designs for licensing to small businesses to use on their products.
