How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I describe my technique as "motorised drawing" on glass and that is how I approach my designs. I am inspired by the natural world and interpret it in my own unique style. I am motivated by experimentation and I'm always looking at new ways to use my skills and extend my practice. I engrave on optical glass and make Verre églomisé wall art and miniature paintings on gold leaf.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

I find that making something tangible using my hands is very a satisfying and calming pursuit as I am completely immersed in the creative process.
