Details
I create homeware from my handwoven textiles using wool, cotton and linen and plan on introducing some hand printed homeware at a later date.
Creativity is a way of expressing yourself, weaving manual gives me the opportunity to explore not only colour but texture.
Weaving can be complex and time consuming, and one gets lost in the excitement and anticipation of the finished result. Its incredibly rewarding and like all art with all mediums its good for the soul.

I am mainly a self taught weaver, I've had friends share their skills and experiences and there is something to be learnt from everyone. I also trained as a screen printer in my younger years and still have a love of printmaking on both paper and fabric.
