How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I have been doing Silk Painting for over 20 years and still always enjoy the way the dyes and paints flow through the fabric.
I use many techniques to produce my work from wax batik to gutta and layering. I like to make jewellery and wearable art including scarves. Some of the scarves are eco dye which is a way of integrating natural dyes and pigments from my garden onto ready-made scarves.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

My Artwork is inspired by nature and my love of colour. It allows me to blend both into creations that can be worn or used in the home.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

Silk Artist and Jewellery Maker.

Your gallery outlets/stockists:

Made in Ross Gallery - Market House, Ross on Wye.
