How would you describe the work you do and why?
I am captivated by silk as an art textile because of its unique characteristics and ability to create subtle colour transitions and stunning effects. In my silk art, I employ a range of techniques including wet on wet, wax batik resist, sizing, gutta resists, and dry layering alongside the effects of salt, alcohol, and diluants.
