How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Knitting is very therapeutic and is an easy pastime for our stressful lives -they call knitting the new Yoga.

My Neckwarmer Snoods , Cable Neckwarmers and Hats and Fingerless Mitts are knitted in a variegated yarn and are a useful layer all year round.

My Necklace Cowls and Long Fringed Scarves have a jewel like glisten, pop them over a Tee Shirt, Jumper or Cardigan and you are ready to go. Just wait for the compliments from friends and family. Buy one for a friend and they will remember you every time they wear it.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

I am a Knitter and I make practical ,useful items in good quality yarns that are easy to wear and sell at a reasonable price.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I handknit Necklace Cowls, Long Fringed Scarves, Shawls and Shrugs in a lacey yarn with a jewel-like glisten. I also knit Cable Neckwarmers, Neckwarmer Snoods, Fingerless Mitts , Hats and Shrugs in a variety of Wool and Acrylic Yarns
