How would you describe the work you do and why?
I attempt to design and make artifacts that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, using wood which is a natural, renewable and versatile material. When at last I think I have succeeded it gives me a great sense of achievement and peace.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
It means continually learning new skills and improving old ones in order to get the best solutions I am capable of.

Designer/Maker Primarily Woodturning.

Member and exhibitor at Ewyas Harold Craft Centre.

Honours Degree in Furniture Design and Related Product Design with Ceramics Subsidiary. Ravensbourne. Tought Art, Design Technology, Graphics and Furniture Studies to A Level and Advanced City and Guilds level.
