Details

How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

My work is usually functional and decorative, with some intuitive forms. I take inspiration from the world around me, whether in nature or architecture.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

I use art to express myself as a cathartic exercise. Art conveys my true self most effectively.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am a predominantly a ceramicist, and use varying techniques for my practice. These include throwing forms, press moulding and slab building. I enjoy using different bodies of clay from stoneware to porcelain. I also explore mix media.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I am currently engaged as a BA honours student doing a Contemporary Design Crafts degree.
