Details
My work is usually functional and decorative, with some intuitive forms. I take inspiration from the world around me, whether in nature or architecture.
I use art to express myself as a cathartic exercise. Art conveys my true self most effectively.
I am a predominantly a ceramicist, and use varying techniques for my practice. These include throwing forms, press moulding and slab building. I enjoy using different bodies of clay from stoneware to porcelain. I also explore mix media.
I am currently engaged as a BA honours student doing a Contemporary Design Crafts degree.
