How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My work is inspired by the brilliant traditional botanists of the past. My images are painted from life but less scientific and more portraiture, often including their pots or surroundings.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

As an artist and plant lover I simply have no choice, my great passion is the recreation in paint of the beautiful life around me.
