Details
.Most of my life has been spent as a professional singer and teacher but I have always spent any spare time with a pencil or paintbrush in my hand. The musician in me has greatly influenced the artist and vice versa. I have also been fortunate enough to live in inspiring surroundings with beautiful views and nature contributing to much of the output of my work.
I enjoy experimenting with inks and pastels as well as with acrylics and oils, exploring textures and mixed media. My work veers between detailed botanical studies, landscapes and bolder acrylic and oils.
.Another form of expression - a different voice. A fascination with colour, texture and rhythm . Totally absorbing.
.An amateur artist.
An enthusiastic amateur exhibiting with local groups.
