How would you describe the work you do and why?:
Initially I work in Plasterene or Clay...loving the feel of both materials, working on a metal support eventually sending them to a Foundry for casting in Bronze.
It is a time consuming process, challenging and satisfying and gives me great joy! Mostly working with the natural world by which I am surrounded!
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I get itchy fingers if they are not at creative work. This might be in the studio, the garden, the kitchen or out and about in Herefordshire. So it is central to my busy life and I love it!!
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
My work will be in Bronze...some images shown are works in progress....drawings in Pencil and Charcoal

Fine Art degree in painting at Farnham art college...a long time ago!
