Over the years I've explored many different media, but drawing is the basis of all my painting and printmaking.
At the moment I'm using ink, watercolour and oil pastels, mainly for landscape subjects.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

It means using any available medium to translate how I feel about the world around me into artwork.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I'm a painter, printmaker and photographer.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I work in my studio at home and enjoy contact with other artists at exhibitions, workshops and meetings.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:

After moving to Herefordshire in the 80s I studied life drawing, fine art, photography and printmaking at Hereford College of Art.

I've now returned to drawing and painting.
