I paint the things around me. I like the human form and enjoy the challenge of making images that include the figure.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I'm not sure whether I would call myself an artist. I have a degree and an MA in Fine Art , taught painting and drawing and worked as a university lecturer in Art History - does that make me an artist?
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am someone who paints.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I enjoy working in many different media as a means of expressing the human figure in abstract and semi-abstract forms. I taught art and ran workshops for adults for over ten years.
