How would you describe the work you do and why?
This year I am looking at some of the green lanes, ridgeways, trackways and byways of Herefordshire. These vestiges of the past date from prehistoric times to the end of the turnpike era although the closure of railways in the 1960's has given us a new generation of raised and sunken tracks across the landscape. My work is a celebration of these oft forgotten routes.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a man who paints. From time to time I regard myself as an artist.
