How would you describe the work you do and why?
I love the process and unpredictability of enamelling. Enamelling is the art of firing glass powder onto copper, whether it's copper sheet or copper bowls. My inspiration for my enamelling comes from the natural world and is usually based on tree designs.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Being a full-time enamel artist is a wonderful way to earn a living. What could be better than doing what you love as a job. I spend a lot of time in nature getting inspiration and taking lots of photos which j can then use to sketch my designs.
