How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Mocha ware is a sub-category of slipware, where you use a mixture called mocha, which traditionally was made from boiling chewing tobacco and placing on slip to create tree like spindles which cascade down the slip.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

For me as an artists, I really enjoy exploring new ideas, new forms and a practical process that collate with the use of slipware. Throwing for me is a form of therapy in which I love the regimental process.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I'm a slipware potter predominately using mocha ware and coloured slips
