How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I make functional , uncomplicated bowls and mugs using durable stoneware .
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Expressing artistry is a fundamental aspect of my nature . It allows me to experiment with the entire creative process from inception to the final product . Above all the greatest thrill is experiencing the alchemy of glaze firing .
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a developing potter who is always learning new aspects of the hugely skilful craft of throwing and glazing stoneware vessels.
