How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I’m very methodical in the way I work; so exploring watercolours has forced me out of my comfort zone. Watercolours must be worked with, and not forced. This suspension of control leads to a looser finish than in my acrylics, and has been received very positively.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
My abilities lend themselves to the recreation of what I see. Whilst I can’t pull from my own imagination, I can replicate beautiful things in nature and put them to paper, which I’m perfectly satisfied with. To me, being an artist is to capture things in time.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I'm a self-taught amateur artist.
Exhibitions in the last 3 years:
I have previously exhibited with h.Art twice previously.
