Details
How would you describe the work you do and why?
Texture, materiality and meaning are the basic ingredients of the work produced, which is inspired by the natural, social and sometimes political events. She aims to articulate and evoke the various emotions experienced by the human condition.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Creating is a form of expression. It comes from within the self and is a window into the artist/creators habitus; how we see the world, what we value, and how we act, often without us even realising it.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
A multi disciplinary sculptor and painter, whose art practice is both a personal response to the physical and emotional environment, and an inherent need to create. Expressing thoughts and feelings through the media used, and the physical connection experience to the materials whilst working with her bare hands.
