Details

How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My work often reflects the human condition, personal and shared experiences from the past, and in current context with the aim of evoking feeling and emotional responses.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist is way of expressing something that cannot always be said in words. It is an outlet for creative impulses that provides both solace and pleasure that may be shared.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a multimedia practitioner, my methodology is to work instinctively by responding to the media/materials used and the thoughts and feelings that influence me during the creative process, leaving physical impressions, imprints, and gestures within the work.
Threads of meaning are evoked by the matter, the process and the aesthetic outcome to create layers of meaning and invite aesthetic contemplation.
