How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I've been creating mosaics on and off for a few years now, dabbling in other crafts in between, but always returning to this craft that I enjoy the most. I love that you can turn broken pieces of tile, glass, china into something so beautiful, and without the use of anything other than a few basic tools and your hands - no expensive machines needed! My pieces have a natural feel to them because of both the designs and the colours I use. And, as you can probably tell, I love flowers, so these are included in most of my creations.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

For me, it's about seeing the world a little differently and turning that vision into something tangible. It’s about playing with colours, textures, and materials to create something that sparks joy or curiosity. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the satisfaction of making something with my own hands.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
