How would you describe the work you do and why?
At The Ledbury Flower Farmer we grow seasonal flowers to arrange for weddings, gift bouquets and parties. We grow sustainably with the season using no sprays to protect the environment and the wildlife here on the flower farm. As well as fresh flowers for parties we also create with fresh and dried flowers for lots of varied workshops.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Being a season led floral artist means that you are limited to what is available at that moment in time and are more creative as a result . Art and floristry is a wonderful creative outlet, flowers are involved in all of our important life occasions and have been proven to help us feel better too. Come and pick a few stems to have in your home and see what you think.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
Most of my flowers go into gorgeous gift bouquets or wedding flowers. However you can also come and get involved through workshops with fresh or dried flowers. You can come and pick you own flowers to go home with too or just come and enjoy a wander around the garden and flower farm beds.
CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:
I have a degree in Rural Environmental Protection and have done many floral demonstrations. I have also provided flowers for their Majesties Coronation and have been involved with gold medal winning displays at RHS Chelsea flower show.
