Herefordshire Art and Craft Society (HACS) is a well established community of artists and craftspeople, founded in 1922. Our members include creatives who are beginners, hobbyists, amateurs, semi-professionals, professionals and art historians.
We are pleased to be exhibiting again for h-Art this year at Hereford's famous The Green Dragon Hotel. This well known hotel has a history dating back more than 900 years, originally known as The White Lyon and owned by the Bishops of Hereford. The hotel was popular with pilgrims visiting the shrines of St Ethelbert and St Thomas Cantilupe at Hereford Cathedral, which is a few hundred yards away at the end of Broad Street.
22 members of HACS will be exhibiting at The Green Dragon Hotel during h-Art this year. With a large array of artworks on display including paintings, ceramics, jewellery and textiles. There will also be prints and cards available to buy. The artists themselves will be stewarding the exhibition on various days during opening times so if you would like to meet them and chat to them about their art you are very welcome to pop in and say hello.
There are refreshments available at The Green Dragon Hotel in their Garrick Lounge, or if you fancy something stronger then visit The Orange Bar which is open from 3pm every day.
