Details

How would you describe the work you do and why?

My work is reflective of my environment and my life experience, usually with a tongue in cheek approach. I like to play with ideas and techniques so have avoided finding a ‘style’ which I then replicate and this makes anything possible, as demonstrated with the variety of objects I produce.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

For me it’s become like breathing, it’s what I do. I try to avoid any other definitions of what an artist is as this can be contentious. This is how I deal with living.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a creative, interpreting the world as I see it with paper and paint.
