How would you describe the work you do and why?

I use different paint mediums to explore and use layers of pure rich paint and colour to create rhythmic images which are full of vitality, some exuberant, others quiet and contemplative. I work in my studio in Herefordshire and love the challenge of each painting as it develops, and I am always surprised at the finished painting.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

It means that I can continually explore new ideas and learn each day.
