Coming from a textile design background, my paintings almost look like screen prints because I layer block colours and never blend them. I use flat gouache paint and work from a vibrant colour palette to enhance the saturation and highlight the beauty of the architecture.
Creating these paintings brings me so much joy which is expressed through my choice of colour and I hope it brings the same feeling to viewers.
A print designer from Garway, Herefordshire who is currently developing a collection of local church paintings in the form of framed prints and greetings cards. I am also taking commissions to paint houses int hie contemporary style.
I work full time in fabric sourcing for a fashion brand, but am keen to develop my practice as a freelance print/textile designer.
