How would you describe the work you do and why?:
The landscape around us here on the Powys/ Herefordshire border is what inspires me. I came to painting quite late in life, following careers in ceramics and education, via botanical illustration, and flowers still provide me with ever-changing inspiration. Between our beautiful landscape and the flowers in my garden there is always something to depict. My work is largely representational, and I use watercolour, inks oils and pastels.
