Casserole Dishes
Details
I make functional ceramics, such as mugs, large jugs, platters and serving dishes. I like to make things that can have a use but also look beautiful.
Being an artist brings me a sense of joy and purpose. I feel so fulfilled creating something out of what is essentially mud, knowing it will be used and treasured for many years.
I am a Studio Potter
I do not currently teach or run workshops.
I have no formal ceramics qualification. I first learnt the basics when studying at Herefordshire College of Art and Design in my late teens.
I later took evening classes in Abergavenny and The Forest of Dean learning more about processes and refining my techniques.
Later on I joined Clay Hill Potters in The Forest of Dean where I really learned how to throw, make glazes and it was there my passion for pottery took over.
Feast at The Sanctuary Gallery, Newnham, March 2025.
