How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My work is imaginary and inspired by landscape, dance, music and poetry. While my paintings are both expressive and primitive they delve into an ethereal world.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Art is a way of expressing my ideas and feelings about life.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am a freelance artist and designer with a back ground in Theatre design and dance.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I exhibit at craft and art events; also teaching and demonstrating painting for Art Groups. I have had a number of solo art exhibitions and undertake private commissions.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice:

I have a degree in Theatre Design, Teaching Certificate for adult Education. I am also qualified to teach dance to adults and children with Margaret Morris Movement.
