How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Lucy studied French and Drama at Manchester University and Acting at Central School of Speech and Drama. Before taking up painting full time she worked as an actor, as a community arts practitioner, as a teacher, and at BAFTA.

Lucy moved back to Wales with her family in 2007 and lives near Llandrindod. After many years of dreaming about it Lucy finally took up painting after a car crash in 2018. And so, despite being born in 1969, she describes herself as an “emerging artist.”

Lucy paints stunning, atmospheric landscapes and seascapes which are full of movement and fluidity. She particularly loves to paint the countryside of Mid Wales and the Cardiganshire coast, near Llangrannog.
