How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I am interested in people and communities and their stories. I find that glass offers me a medium that in some ways replicates the human condition – sometimes shiny, glossy, bright, clear and very strong, but in other forms brittle, matt, light and fragile

For you what does being an artist mean?:

The opportunity to play, create, tell stories, please others with something that they connect with are just some of the reasons that being an artist is a wonderful thing.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

Glass artist, occasionally mixed media, and always developing skills in drawing, paint and print.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:

I offer workshops in different aspects of working with glass, such as fusing and copper foiling.
