How would you describe the work you do and why?:
The aspiration behind my pottery is to create well considered functional wares that poise between prose and poetry, work situated in the containment of utility ( prose) yet able to offer beyond its functional realm ( poetry)
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Being an artist to me means a way of creative being.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a potter specializing in reduction filed stoneware and porcelain.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I am both a maker and a pottery teacher. currently I delivery weekend porcelain workshops at New Brewery Art based in Cirencester.

I hold an art and design foundation diploma and was apprenticed with two well respected potters both in UK and Australia before I set up my studio in 2024.
