I love colour and texture a find using polymer clay and pigment inks and acrylics a very versatile way of exploring this medium.
For me it is being lost in time; having an idea and running with it exploring the many combinations of colour and textures. I am particularly influenced by textures that are distressed and aged, like finding a weathered old door on an old Spanish building or port.
Pomegranate Collective was born from an extended stay in Granada working and teaching jewellery making with other creatives.
I work from a studio based at home near Leominster Herefordshire.
I have led workshops combining teaching English and jewellery make MH in Spain.
No formal art education but I have been making and selling jewellery on and off since the 1980s … (which makes me feel very old) from a desire to wear colour and things I like!
