Details

How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Last year I relocated from Surrey to Herefordshire where I now create and cast limited edition sculptures in my studio near Ross-on-Wye.

My sculpture is mainly abstract with a sprinkle of realism - blending the angular, the curvaceous and the spaces they contain or become.

I'm particularly focused on giving shape to female experience; feminist themes and breaking the bias. Playful creations of cats sometimes find their way out of my studio too!

For you what does being an artist mean?:

To be an artist is to have the incredible good fortune to be able to harness an idea and transform it into something tangible and meaningful.
