How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I specialise in lino prints that are reflective of landscape and architectural heritage. I love to explore natural and built environments to inform my printmaking practice.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

I’ve spent my childhood and whole career in the world of art. To be an artist is the ultimate freedom to express yourself.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am an illustrator and printmaker based in the Ironbridge Gorge. My studio is located at the Maws Craft Centre, a historic tile works on the River Severn. I enjoy exploring an illustrative approach to printmaking and mixed media.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I create limited edition linoprints and mixed media artwork on display at my studio and in museums and galleries.
I also make a range of hand sewn lanterns using art prints on parchment paper.
I run linoprint classes from my studio, and also provide classes to colleges and art groups.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice: 

I am a graduate of Lincoln College of Art studying graphic design and illustration, and of Westhope College studying textile decoration.
