I am inspired by the colours of Nature and her changing Seasons. Working from my home studio set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside,.
I weave, spin, hand knit and dye. I particularly enjoy working with local wool.
I love using combinations of colour and yarn types to produce unique textiles. Growing dye plants in my garden to add a natural colour palette for weaving is so pleasing.
Weaving is a wonderful traditional craft, mindfully working at the loom -the throwing of the shuttle, the treadling and rhythmical gentle beat brings me joy.
