I work mainly using porcelain because I like its translucency and how ideas can be expressed through the application of textures and oxide colouring. A recent foray into watercolour painting has had an influence on decorating my ceramics.
For me it is being able to express ideas through the manipulation of materials clay and glass. I like sharing my enthusiasm with other artists makers and the interested public.
Designer/maker using clay with a specialist interest in porcelain.
My partner and I work from our home and garden studio in the southwest facing part of the Malvern Hills. St Anthonys Studio is the name of our practice. We like to demonstrate techniques and do occasional workshops.
