How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Based in my lovely rural studio on the Gloucestershire/Herefordshire border my art is inspired by nature and landscape. I am a printmaker and painter, mostly working in linoprint but I also experiment with drypoint etching, collage and paint. My monochrome work is very much based on pattern, while my colour work plays around with layering to create different results within a print run. I like the fact that linoprinting is in some ways very much planned, but also offers the opportunity for experimentation and unexpected results.
