How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

In my historic Ludlow home studio I transform old, broken and discarded things into unique, playful pieces. Every item has a story and a history and is one of a kind. My collages and objects d’art stimulate conversation, creativity and fun.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

A pleasure and a privilege to combine my creativity with a passion for finding and reimagining.

Stick Em Up. Collage collective at Gather, Ludlow. Art teacher and subject leader.

BA (hons) Art and Primary teaching 2:I from Bretton Hall College 2001
In 2001 I completed my art and teaching degree at Bretton Hall College, Yorkshire. As well as my own practice I have since worked with schools, colleges, community groups, museums and galleries.
I founded my creative business Emily Found A Thing in 2008 combining my love of finding and reimagining.
