Lucy Thompson

I specialise in creating unique, contemporary jewellery using traditional jewellery making techniques. I predominately use recycled silver and gold and responsibly sourced semi precious stones.
I am influenced by my background in sculpture, the welsh landscape, as well as ancient designs. I use repetition, geometric shapes and gritty textures to create subtle contrasts and patina and plating to add colour.
My most recent collection explores my long held fascination with farm buildings; the multiple textures within, the repetition of man-formed components that construct them and their silhouette against the landscape.
