Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
My name is Stephen McGurk but I am commonly known as Fr. Simon around here because I am a priest from Belmont Abbey, Hereford, working in Weobley. I was born on the Wirral and grew up almost next to the Lady Lever art gallery. I have had no formal art education but have always just loved painting and drawing. I now attend an art group in Weobley where we have a very good teacher, but we all teach each other.
