The jewellery I create uses the unique craft of Wire Wrapping. Wire wrapping is a type of craft where the stones or crystals are set within the wire wrap without the aid of glues, soldering etc. I predominantly use natural crystals and stones which makes each design very unique.
Being an artist for me is the ability to create and design from the heart and then to share that vision with the world. Creating jewellery, for me, is very much an aid to relaxation.
My business name is Jenny's Twisted Treasures, I am of course the Jenny of the company I specialise in wire wrapped jewellery which predominantly involves twisting wire into treasured designs.
Since launching myself into the open world of selling my craft I haven't had the space or resources to take part in, or host any activities.
Throughout my school years I was very much engaged in my artistic talents. My working history is mostly in sales which I find helps to promote my business. My biggest inspiration comes from my families history for artistic talents, non more so than my mum Rachel Padley (Potter) all of my knowledge and talents I owe to her.
I only started selling in August 2023, my first event being a small memorial hall gathering in Coleford. Since then I have attended the following:
Cinderford town music festival
Larruperz community Hall Christmas market
Longhope Village hall Christmas craft market
Harts Barn Craft centre Christmas market
The Picture House Gallery Christmas market
Currently I have stock in The mystical cat within Harts Barn Craft centre in Longhope and Manna House in Newent. I am also in discussions with Casa Interiors in Newnham.
