How would you describe the work you do and why?:
All my pieces are handmade with lots of love! All needle felted by hand with merino and raw wool and silks, with a little embroidery added at times! My work is very obviously handmade and rustic but I think that makes it more personal and you can see the love that has gone into creating all the different personalities
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Being able to relax and escape from reality and creating special pieces for others to enjoy

Whitbourne woolies - handmade needle felted pictures
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I work from home around my two little children, dogs and ponies so I grab time where I can to enjoy my hobby
