My practice is centred around the expression of emotion and feeling through object using functional ceramic pieces including lighting and sculptural vessels. Inspired by a long held passion for interior design, ceramics and beautiful things I explore and question the importance of the objects in our lives and the spaces that they inhabit.
For me, being an artist is an opportunity to observe and interrogate material objects against the natural world. This lens provides us with a deeper meaning and understanding of the relationship and connection that we hold with the objects surrounding us.
