How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

Hand Weaver, Hand Spinner and Dyer. I design my own work.
- I love to use combinations of colour and yarn types with texture and pattern to produce unique woven pieces.

I'm passionate about traditional skills in textiles and wood turnery.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Being inspired by the landscape, taking the colours of Nature and creating beautiful functional cloth.
"Slow cloth" made with mindfulness and joy.
From beautiful be spoke sculptural wood art to wearable items such as shawl pins. Using natural materials and working with care.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

Woollen Tree at Hillside Cottage.

Working with natural materials to offer you simple items of beauty with rustic charm.
Hand Woven Homeware and Accessories, Hand Knitted and Traditionally Hand Crafted with needles, wheel and loom.
Lathe turned wooden accessories for knitting and weaving.
