How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I make enamel pictures, bowls, brooches and earrrings. All of my work is on a base of copper and I create the design with powdered glass which is then fired. Several layers of glass powder can be applied so some peices are fired several times.
My pictures are inspired by nature, either trees , flowers or seedheads. I am also inspired by stunning landscapes or seascapes and create vibrant pictures of these scenes.
I am passionate about my work and get a real buzz from creating . The joy of enamelling is the unpredictabilaty of the final piece.
