I work predominantly on the potter's wheel to create functional pieces from white earthenware clay. All my pots are decorated with coloured slips using a variety of techniques including dipping, sponging and painting. I love the muted colours of slips and the versatility of them.
I've been making my living as a potter for over 30 years and I hope I never stop learning. The joy of making a functional object from a lump of clay is immeasurable and I never tire of it. I hope in some small way that I add a little enjoyment to people's lives through using my pots.
