Christine Shorney

I work very closely with nature and natural forms shapes and colours, I am very much influenced by the work of Brigitte Riley , The Bauhaus and the early colorists of Impressionism. .l was trained at UCW Aberystwyth working with David Tinker, who was head of the Art Department. After leaving UniversityI taught in Australia fora number of years in Canberra Grammar School I have also worked in Uk where I have taken evening classes and worked with small children. The main influences on my work at present are linked to my home and woodland surroundings.The ponds and streams are magical.
