How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I carve my own printing blocks + hand print nature inspired repeat prints + patterns onto natural + plant dyed cotton, using water based inks. I also incorporate natural plant dyes to add unique, one-of-a-kind designs. I enjoy being able to work on a process from start to finish; from having an idea, drawing it, creating a block to eventually holding something physical. It feels incredibly rewarding + every piece makes me feel more enthusiastic when producing the next.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

It is my livelihood + passion. It's what I enjoy doing in my work life + spare time.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

Designer + printmaker creating unique textiles + homewares by hand.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I'm a fulltime printmaker selling via my website + offer commissions.

Studied art + design BTEC national diploma. Self taught.
