I originate images via the traditional means of painting on canvas, either as an answers to intriguing perceptions of aspect of the natural world or as a way of embodying an emotion or thought process with the manner of handling materials and the choice of personal or referential iconography.
Conventional genres of landscape, portraiture still life, are indulged mainly in commissioned work while, sui generis experiments, in style and aims, lead in turns a meandering visual quest for the connected self.
Practicing a shared celebration of knowledge and freedoms, afforded by the mind through the learning senses.

I attended traditional Fine arts education in Italy, where I practiced illustration, portraiture, textile design. Moved to England for a new start, after a long spell dedicated to other professional opportunities, I gradually resumed my engagement with arts in general and the practice of a life with painting .
Regular appearances at the Hereford Art Week each September and various collective themed shows in the county.
