Catherine Murray - I’m a photographer looking to join a mixed group for hArt 2024.

I take images of the beautiful Herefordshire landscape, which are printed on aluminium and framed in a contemporary style.

Having lived in Herefordshire for many years and exhibited successfully at hArt before, I have recently moved out of county to live with my new husband; so I’m looking for a group to invite me to join them.

I am flexible on area, but near to Hereford or Ross on Wye would be ideal.  I would be available to assist at the venue during the show.

Please get in touch, if you can help me out.

Venues seeking artists:

Leominster - Grange Court is a Grade 2* Listed heritage building near the centre of Leominster town. We are wheelchair accessible and have a cafe serving homemade cakes and lunches. The exhibition space is an internal space of about 900 square foot  suitable for both hanging and table displays with a beautiful secure walled garden where outdoor works can be displayed. We have some car parking but are also within a couple of minutes walk of Etnam Street or Broad Street car parks. We are looking for a variety of media to have something to interest everyone.

Hereford - Our City Centre venue in Hereford is the perfect canvas for your Artistic expression. We have worked with h.Art previously and are excited to offer our unique space to emerging/established artists. We would cover the Venue Fee. Artists to manage own event and promotions (we will also share on all SM platforms). We can offer Spacious Interiors, Gallery walls and may have the space for Collaboration opportunities. See our venue here: Contact Claire on

North - St Michaels Church near Tenbury has spaces for more artists/craftspeople. Fixed fee to cover costs with no commission. No compulsion to man the event but always welcome.

For details contact Julie - or 07807 373132.

North - Discover Parks are calling out for suitable artists to exhibit their work at 2 fabulous locations in North Herefordshire.

Happy to share h.Art advertising costs and have staffed receptions at both parks so can direct visitors to displays.

Pearl Lake Country Park at Shobdon is a 5* holiday park set in 100 acres.

Our guests and visitors consist of holiday home owners (lodges & caravans) self catering visitors (several cottages & caravans to rent on park) & touring visitors (camping, motorhome and caravan owners). So a great through put of potential customers already on site before we even open the gates to the public.

Pearl Lake itself sits in 115 acres and is the county’s largest natural lake which is glacial. It’s surrounded by 20 acres of ancient woodland so a wonderful venue for big sculptures or art work. The park has a Lakeside Bistro & Bar where there is wall space for suitable art and a large community room, which again is available for displays large or small.

Arrow Bank Country Park at Eardisland is in the heart of the village and sits on the River Lugg. Its hosts holidays homes/lodges, 6 self catering lodges & a large 5* touring site.

There is an attractive Border Oak Reception on entering which has a large floor to ceiling Conference Room, a perfect gallery space for art displays. Again staffed from 8.30 - 5pm each day with a good throughput of visitors.

Please contact 07812 997371

West  - Oil & Oak in Hay-on-Wye are looking for 3D artists to join us in a collaborative exhibition for the art trail. If you're interested please email Abi via

Are you looking for artists to join you at your venue, or searching for a great space to show at next year?

If anyone is looking for anyone/anything specific and you want me to put out your request on the Artist Notice Board and in the next h.Art ENewsletter. Please let Mel know.  Be specific about what you are looking for and what you are offering and include relevant contact details.

Something along these lines, e.g., from a venue

Joe Bloggs - I have a barn five miles from Hereford which I think would be a fantastic venue for sculptors, but I would want the artists to organise everything, but I will contribute X percentage of the Venue fee payment. See my venue here/link Contact Joe at X to chat informally.
